ABOUT INNOCENCE PROJECT DELAWARE…

Innocence Project Delaware was established in 2018 as the only organization in Delaware focusing on claims of actual innocence for incarcerated Delawareans.

Innocence Project Delaware provides pro bono legal services to investigate and seek relief for claims of wrongful conviction.

Housed at Widener University Delaware Law School, Innocence Project Delaware is in the advantageous position of having law students eager to work on these important issues in a clinical setting.

To learn more about our work, watch this video from a presentation we gave at Westminster's Peace & Justice Work Group:

Wilmington City Council’s Recognition of Innocence Project Delaware

At Innocence Project Delaware, we strive to educate the community about wrongful convictions and how we seek to address them.

On September 7, 2023, we were honored to receive a Resolution from the Wilmington City Council in recognition of our work.

We are so grateful to have their support & look forward to working together to help provide justice for wrongfully convicted individuals within our city and state.
