Current Events
Our virtual auction is now LIVE (as of December 3, 2024) and closes on January 1, 2025. It features stunning, original artwork by Sakana Walls, a courageous artist who was recently released from a Delaware prison after serving 14 years. Sakana’s journey is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit, and his art now stands as a testament to his strength, creativity, and hope for the future.
By bidding on these pieces or making a direct donation, you are not only helping us free the wrongfully convicted in Delaware, but also supporting Sakana as he begins his journey of reentry into society — a path that is far from easy, but one that we can make a little brighter together.
This holiday season, we are filled with gratitude for your continued support, and we invite you to stand with us as we fight for the freedom, dignity, and justice that every person deserves.

Past Events
Join us on August 1st for an evening of fun in support of Innocence Project Delaware and Delaware Center for Justice’s crucial work in Delaware!
Innocence Project Delaware provides pro bono services to incarcerated Delawareans who were convicted of crimes they did not commit. IPD investigates and seeks relief for these claims, while also working to remedy the causes of wrongful convictions. IPD is the only organization in Delaware focusing on claims of actual innocence.
The Delaware Center for Justice programs work with youth and adults across the criminal legal system, from pre-adjudication/detention to incarceration and reentry. DCJ is unique among nonprofits in that we operate in both the advocacy and service spaces, with our policy and education work informing — and being informed by — our direct service efforts.
Please join us and our guest bartenders for an evening of drinks, fun, and friendly rivalry in supporting Innocence Project Delaware & Delaware Center for Justice!

Join us on March 7, 6pm–March 8, 6pm for Delaware's Largest Giving Day, #DoMore24DE.
This year Innocence Project Delaware is once again participating in DoMore24! Last year, thanks to your generosity, we raised over $8,000 in 24 hours. That money was critical, helping us revamp our website, increase our volunteer workforce and community outreach efforts.
And there is so much more work to do! Since we opened our doors in 2020, we have received over 140 requests for help from incarcerated Delawareans. Each application must be painstakingly reviewed to see if new evidence can be uncovered and innovative strategies pursued. We are the only organization in Delaware helping the wrongfully convicted as they fight to reclaim the freedom that was stolen from them!
But we can only do this vital work to restore justice and reclaim lives with your help. During this fundraiser we are eligible for matching funds, so your dollars really go further to help us do more throughout the year!

How to Help?
Delaware is a small state with a big wrongful conviction problem. Innocence Project Delaware is looking to change that.
