Submit your case to Innocence Project Delaware
Innocence Project Delaware provides free legal assistance in cases of actual innocence. We only consider cases where a person is wrongfully convicted of a crime with which they had no involvement and cases in which new evidence of innocence currently exists or is discoverable. Because our resources are limited, we can only focus on cases where innocence can be proven through new evidence. In order to be considered, you must be:
Wrongly convicted of a state or federal crime in the State of Delaware
Unable to afford counsel
Finished with your trial and direct appeal
Innocent of the crimes for which you are convicted. We cannot accept your case if you played any role in the crime, even a minor one. Additionally, we do not take cases alleging consensual sex, self-defense, or accidental death.
In order for Innocence Project Delaware to review your case, you must complete a case screening application and submit certain documentation.
