Internships

You may apply for any of the following positions: Marketing and Graphic Design Intern, Intake and Administrative Intern, Events Intern, Development Intern, and Case Analysis Intern.

We offer Fall internships (September-December), Spring internships (January-April), and Summer internships (May-August).

    • Open to college or law students

    • Create graphic designs (likely on Canva) for social media posts, flyers, etc.

    • Mostly virtual work, but must be able to commit to at least one virtual meeting per week

    • Open to college or law students

    • Send letters and applications to incarcerated individuals

    • Log intake records

    • Provide in-office administrative assistance

    • Processing and digitizing files on Clio

    • Open to college or law students

    • Plan, coordinate, and advertise events

    • Open to college or law students

    • Search for grant opportunities and corporate partnerships

    • Expand our outreach and community engagement efforts

    • Open to law students

    • Interns will each be assigned a case for which they will conduct an in-depth review of all documents, including trial transcripts and discovery materials

    • About 10 hours/week

    • Supervised by Director of Case Intake and Investigations and Staff Attorney

    • In appropriate cases, the legal intern will present the case to IPD staff for potential acceptance by the Project
